What is Composite Material?

A Composite Material is a material made from two or more constituent materials with significantly different physical or chemical properties that, when combined, produce a material with characteristics different from the individual components. Composite Material was introduced long time ago.

But was in different form. Bricks were made by using clay and straw. It was ancient use  of composite material. But now-a-days composite materials example: carbon, glass, epoxy etc.
